Chris Ewing, Founder & Managing Partner
As Founder and Managing Partner of Audaciter, an investment management and business consulting firm, Chris leads real estate development, alternative investment strategy, and financial consulting services. He also serves in board member and outsourced CFO roles for growth-minded organizations.
Chris draws upon his former corporate and start-up/scale-up-focused experience to bring seasoned yet creative perspectives to his clients and investors. As a contract CFO to multiple venture capital firms, Chris has significant experience in investment due diligence and start-up ecosystems. As an investor and advisor, he has assisted numerous early stage companies and real estate developers with financial governance, capital structure, and transaction support.
He previously held roles as Treasurer & Head of Tax for Knauf North America, a multibillion-dollar global manufacturing conglomerate, and as Chief Financial Officer at Vodafone Americas Inc., the US subsidiary of the publicly traded wireless leader, Vodafone Group Plc. Chris began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP as a licensed CPA.
Chris enjoys learning about and engaging in the communities in which he invests and collaborates with clients, particularly across the Mountain West, and is an avid outdoorsman and travel enthusiast.
Ty Soukup, partner ACM
Currently a Partner at Audaciter Capital Management, Ty started his investment career trading stocks in high school and flipping houses during college. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in engineering, a minor in business administration and is licensed professional engineer. While working as an engineer he co-founded a boutique investment company and has made strategic investments in multifamily apartments, single family homes, distressed debt, vacant residential lots and cryptocurrencies. He has over 15 years of investing and business experience including recently launching, growing, and divesting a consumer-packaged goods company.
Ty’s investing experience extends to public and private equities, venture capital, cryptocurrency, agricultural land, livestock, manufactured housing, ground up development, and minerals/royalties. In his spare time, Ty enjoys spending time with his family, helping on the family farm, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
Kjersten Sandru, senior associate
Kjersten graduated from Montana State University Bozeman with an accounting degree and an emphasis in communications. She serves as a Business Professionals of America co-advisor in her local community and works as a Senior Associate at Audaciter. Her prior experience working on audit and tax teams in southwest Montana has prepared her for accounting across multiple industries. Aside from accounting, her keen and innovative insights in the areas of marketing, design, and communications have enabled her to help manage the company’s communications projects.
Growing up on a cattle ranch, Kjersten learned the value of hard work. She is passionate about financial literacy as well as creativity and channels both of these passions into her work.
After work, Kjersten enjoys time on the family ranch, getting outside with her Golden Retriever—Beth Dutton, skiing, baking for the ranch crew, videography, and creating custom clay jewelry pieces.

Audaciter CFO employs additional team members with extensive experience across finance and accounting disciplines. Our associates’ have previously worked for public accounting firms, large publicly traded and private companies, startups and nonprofits. Many of our team members are CPAs and some have corporate board experience. Others have been in the trenches as entrepreneurs and understand the unique challenges that small businesses face.
