Alexandria Carrigg

Alexandria, also known as Ally, grew up in Western Washington until she relocated to Bozeman, MT to attend Montana State University. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Conservation Biology. Her passion for the Earth and all of its biodiversity has driven her to study human impacts on the natural world and its resources. Along with being intrigued by environmental science, Ally has always been interested in business and its different aspects. Previously, she devoted a large amount of time to DECA, a business club that focuses on training future leaders and entrepreneurs in the disciplines of marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

At a young age Ally was taught that you work hard in life to achieve your goals which has constantly driven her to do her best in everything she does. Her experience in the retail, foodservice, and hospitality industries has provided her with leadership, guest/customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills which she is able to apply on the job and in volunteer and community service capacities. She has had the privilege of working for larger corporations like Nike and Hilton along with different nonprofit organizations including Children of the Nation, Children of the Valley, and Heart of the Valley. She was able to use her prior knowledge and proficiency in fundraising, marketing, and event planning to assist these nonprofits with a variety of needs.

Outside of work and school Ally enjoys doing anything that involves the outdoors including kayaking, backpacking, hiking, and playing tennis. She is currently attempting to leash train her cat, Yeti, so he can embark on adventures with her.
